The control laboratory of the SEMECA group is unrivalled in the North Paris region. With its two large-scale machines which can achieve precision to the order of 5 micron-metres, SEMECA can guarantee the quality of its products.
SEMECA’s control department can ensure the correct dimensions and geometry for all kinds of parts, mechanised welded units or manufactured products. To do this, various methods of dimensional as well as traditional checks are used. Our machinery • Air-conditioned room • Three dimensional machines, ZEISS Prismo 10 and 16 with HOLOS software • Thickness measuring using ultra-sound • Measuring column TRIMOS 600, Micro Hite II • Various measuring equipment (profilometer, SIGMATEST, hardness tester, nonmagnetic coating gauge, etc.) • Granite slabs for checking parts between 1,000 and 2,000 mm long and between 800 and 1,500 mm wide, plus precision square • Traditional control equipment Our team There are a dozen testers working for the SEMECA group. The members of this team each have specialist areas of expertise.
